  Path of Destiny entstand im Februar 2007 aus einem kleinen Heavy Metal-Projekt und durchlebte im Laufe der Jahre einige Besetzungswechsel.
  Seit 2012 besteht die Band in der jetzigen Konstellation, bis auf Session-Drummer Jonas, welcher seit März 2019 hinter dem Schlagwerk sitzt.

  Die Mitglieder der Band aus ganz Thüringen kochen seit jeher ihr eigenes Süppchen, bestehend aus harten Melodic Death Metal-Riffs und einer Prise orchestraler Einschübe. Die Songs vereinen die besten Bestandteile dieser Musikstile zu einem brutalen, aber dennoch melodiösen Ganzen. Neben dersymphonischen Untermalung und schnellem Schlagzeug-spiel zeichnen zweistimmige Gitarrenläufe und kräftige Hooklines Path of Destiny aus.

  Zu den größten Erfolgen bisher zählen diverse Festival-Auftritte (u.a. Metalfest 2011, Rock im Betonwerk 2013, Chronical Moshers Open Air 2016), sowie der Labeldeal mit Apostasy Records im Jahre 2016 und der damit verbundene Release des zweiten Albums „Dreams in Splendid Black“.

  Auf der Bühne sticht die Band durch hohe Präsenz und charismatische Interaktion mit dem Publikum hervor. Für gutes „Metaltainment“ ist immer gesorgt, denn hier wird nicht nur dem Ohr, sondern auch dem Auge etwas geboten!

  Path of Destiny emerged from a little Heavy Metal-project in February 2007 and went through several lineup-changes in the past years. Since 2012 the band exists in its
  current form except for Jonas who joined in March 2019 as session-drummer.

  The band-members from all over Thuringia (Germany) are ever since known to cook up their own “metal meal” consisting of heavy melodic death metal-riffs and a pinch of symphonic influences. The songs add up the best parts of both music styles to a brutal but still melodic unity. Along with an orchestral background and fast drumming, two-voiced guitar lines and catchy hooklines help the band to stand out amongst others.

  Amongst the biggest achievements so far count several festival-performances (e.g. Metalfest 2011, Rock im Betonwerk 2013) as well as the labeldeal with Apostasy Records in 2016 that made the release of the second album “Dreams in Splendid Black” perfect.

  Up on stage, Path of Destiny are characterised by their highly atmospheric presence and charismatic interaction with the crowd. The band-members always take care of good “metaltainment” by giving their crowd’s ears something special to listen to and their eyes something interesting to look at.
